Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 Verse 37

भगवद् गीता अध्याय 18 श्लोक 37

यत्तदग्रे विषमिव परिणामेऽमृतोपमम्।
तत्सुखं सात्त्विकं प्रोक्तमात्मबुद्धिप्रसादजम्।।18.37।।

English Translation - Swami Gambirananda

18.37 That which is like poison in the beginning, but comparable to nectar in the end, and which, arises from the purity of ones intellect-that joy is spoken of as born of sattva.

English Translation - Swami Sivananda

18.37 That which is like poison at first but in the end like nectar that happiness is declared to be Sattvic, born of the purity of ones own mind due to Self-realisation.

18.37. [The happiness] which is like poison at its time but is like nectar at the time of its result-that happiness, born of serenity of the Soul and intellect, you must know to be of the Sattva (Strand).
