Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6 Verse 18

भगवद् गीता अध्याय 6 श्लोक 18

यदा विनियतं चित्तमात्मन्येवावतिष्ठते।
निःस्पृहः सर्वकामेभ्यो युक्त इत्युच्यते तदा।।6.18।।

English Translation - Swami Gambirananda

6.18 A man who has become free from hankering for all desirable objects is then said to be Self-absorbed when the controlled mind rests in the Self alone.

English Translation - Swami Sivananda

6.18 When the perfectly controlled mind rests in the Self only, free from longing for all the objects of desires, then it is said, He is united.

6.18. When [his] well-controlled mind gets established in nothing but the Self and he is free from craving for any desired object-at that time his is called a master of Yoga.

Yadaa viniyatam chittamaatmanyevaavatishthate; Nihsprihah sarvakaamebhyo yukta ityuchyate tadaa.

yadā—when; viniyatam—fully controlled; chittam—the mind; ātmani—of the self; eva—certainly; avatiṣhṭhate—stays; nispṛihaḥ—free from cravings; sarva—all; kāmebhyaḥ—for yearning of the senses; yuktaḥ—situated in perfect Yog; iti—thus; uchyate—is said; tadā—then
