मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि।
अथ चेत्त्वमहङ्कारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि।।18.58।।
18.58 Having your mind fixed on Me, you will cross over all difficulties through My grace. If, on the other hand, you do not listen out of egotism, you will get destroyed.
18.58 Fixing thy mind on Me, thou shalt by My grace overcome all obstacles; but if from egoism thou wilt not hear Me, thou shalt perish.
18.58. Having your thought-organ turned towards Me, you shall pass over all obstacles by Me Grace. On the other hand, if you dont give up your sense of ego, you will not liberated yourself, [instead] you will perish.
Macchittah sarvadurgaani matprasaadaat tarishyasi; Atha chet twam ahankaaraan na shroshyasi vinangkshyasi.
mat-chittaḥ—by always remembering me; sarva—all; durgāṇi—obstacles; mat-prasādāt—by my grace; tariṣhyasi—you shall overcome; atha—but; chet—if; tvam—you; ahankārāt—due to pride; na śhroṣhyasi—do not listen; vinaṅkṣhyasi—you will perish
