Bhagavad Gita Chapter 1 Verse 29

भगवद् गीता अध्याय 1 श्लोक 29

सीदन्ति मम गात्राणि मुखं च परिशुष्यति।
वेपथुश्च शरीरे मे रोमहर्षश्च जायते।।1.29।।

।।1.28 1.30।।अर्जुन बोले हे कृष्ण युद्धकी इच्छावाले इस कुटुम्बसमुदायको अपने सामने उपस्थित देखकर मेरे अङ्ग शिथिल हो रहे हैं और मुख सूख रहा है तथा मेरे शरीरमें कँपकँपी आ रही है एवं रोंगटे खड़े हो रहे हैं। हाथसे गाण्डीव धनुष गिर रहा है और त्वचा भी जल रही है। मेरा मन भ्रमितसा हो रहा है और मैं खड़े रहनेमें भी असमर्थ हो रहा हूँ।

Moreover my body which is trembling with horripilation, with a bristling of hairs; slips, falls down and is burning, feeling scorched all over.

Brahma Vaishnava Sampradaya - Commentary

Madhvacarya has no commentary so we present Baladeva Vidyabhusanas. Vepathuh means trembling, romaharsah means horripilation, the Gandiva bow slipping from his hand shows impatience and paridahyate which is burning of the skin is a burning of the heart also.
